(Emily and Dee are walking down the street. Emily is wearing casual clothing and is drinking out of a takeaway coffee cup.)
Dee: Isn't it rude to wear symbols of religions you don't believe in?
Emily (holding up and looking at the pendant on her necklace, which is a cluster of charms, including an ankh and a crucifix): Eh, I don't know. Is it? I just bought this in a shop...
Dee: I don't know. I was asking. I suppose if you're agnostic it makes a sort of sense... maybe.
Emily: Oh yeah - I'm not agnostic anymore, though. I've gone back to atheism.
Dee: What? Why?
Emily: Look - you're right, it can't be proven either way, but I just... It's so stupid. It makes no sense for there to be a god.
Dee: How can you say that to me?
Emily: Well according to you, you're not a god!
Dee: But I'm just as illogical as one!
Emily: Yeah, and I wouldn't believe in you either, except that I seem to have all these memories and perceptions of you which indicate your existence. So...
