Emily (pacing): I'll just have to see what I can do when I get back, and send her more letters in the meantime... she has kind of dropped off... And I'm gonna tell her what you've told me, unless you tell her yourself.
Dee: What!? Oh no, please -
Emily: Dee, I don't want to lie to her. I don't think you should, either. You decided to tell me; stand by it. I'm... glad you did.
Dee: ... Okay. But what if she's angry?
Emily: Let her be angry. But say you're worried about her, and that you need support too, in supporting her. In fact, I'll say that myself in my letter.
(Emily sits and writes a letter. While she does that, Dee straightens up items that got dishevelled earlier, such as the rug and a pot plant, and paces.)
Emily (holding out an envelope): Okay. Can you give her this?
Emily (retracting it): Wait - One more thing.

Alt text: The funny thing about panel 7 is most of the time when I draw Dee multiple times in a panel they are all simultaneous. If I draw Emily multiple times in a panel it's to show movement or time passing because she cannot time travel. Difficult to specifically convey an instance where a time traveller is just passing time and not actually doubling up!!! Hopefully it's clear here, but at least if it's not it doesn't matter much.
