The rules used to be: a separate boys' uniform and girls' uniform, with summer and winter variations, restricted to each gender; boys' hair not allowed longer than the collar; girls' hair allowed longer than the collar, but if it is, must be tied back. Harrison used every skill he ever learned in debating, and more tbh, to convince the school to make the rules not gender-specific.
