Dee: You need your own time and space. I’ve messed your life up enough already-
Emily: SIIGHH
Dee: even without completely consuming it.
Emily: You haven’t messed my life up.
Dee: I appreciate everything you do for me, but you can’t just be a sponge. I’m the ocean.
Emily (hopping off the bench): But if you’re that upset and need to come back, I - It doesn’t have to be often -
Dee: But it will be. There will always be a lot of time when you’re gone and I miss you and that’s ok. It’s ok, Emily.
Emily (hugging him): Shh and let me fret.
Dee: The present is more than enough.
