IN A WAY, WE WERE ALMOST MORE THAN THAT ALREADY; SOMETIMES I FELT LIKE HIS FAMILY. WHICH BIT, I DON'T KNOW.
(A panel showing Emily and Dee hanging washing on the clothes line in the back yard together.)
(A panel showing Emily riding on Dee's shoulders in a marketplace surrounded by people who aren't looking in their direction.)
Emily:
You're sure people don't notice me up here?
Dee: Yep. I don't know if you're invisible or not, but they're not looking.
Emily: This is awesome! Can I steal someone's hat?
Dee: NO.
(A panel showing Emily on her bed, reading a book; the book has a black cover to be suggestive of a book from the 'Twilight' series, possibly 'Breaking Dawn', but it's not detailed enough to be clear. Dee is sitting on the floor reading a book with a dinosaur on the cover.)
Dee:
Haha!
Emily: What?
Dee: Nothing. Some of this is just so inaccurate!
BESIDES WHICH, HE'S FAR TOO OLD FOR ME. I'M NOT SURE HOW I MANAGED TO IGNORE THAT FOR SO LONG. (MAYBE I BLAME THE 'TWILIGHT' BOOKS. JUST A LITTLE BIT.)
