Dee: I was just thinking that! You haven’t travelled much, have you?
Emily: No! And you should take me overseas, too.
Dee: Sure! I already said I’d do that. As long as you do the requisite passport and visa stuff.
Emily: Aw! Come on!
Dee: What? We’ve been through this, it’s the law. I don’t understand what your problem is.
Emily: It’s just such a hassle! We’d have to make up explanations, and… You know, they’d never catch us if we didn’t!
Dee: That’s not the point of the law!
(New scene, at work; Emily has just spotted Dee taking another life.)
Emily: Oh! Um…
Coworker: What? Again?
Emily: Yeah.
Dee: Oh for crying out loud STOP TELLING PEOPLE!
(New scene, Emily at school, catching a wadded up ball of paper Abe has thrown at her.)
Abe: Oh, fast reflexes I see!
Emily: Ooh, predictability, I see.
